Wixon has an immediate opening for a Regulatory Affairs Technician.

The Regulatory Affairs Technician manages Customer Portals, Assists in CRM (Customer Request Management) system, and provides administrative and technical support to the Regulatory Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing TraceGains and other customer portals – complete online forms, create/upload required documents, collaborate with other Wixon departments to complete non-Regulatory requests; report to Regulatory team on outstanding items, issues, timeframes, etc.
  • Assist in completion of customer requests as outlined in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management system); create documents, complete forms, work with other Wixon departments to collect non-Regulatory information; collect, organize and send requested data to customers.
  • Assist in determining regulatory requirements for specific products as well as coordination of all customer requests for technical information such as specification sheets, SDS, allergen status, nutritional information, etc.
  • Works with R&D for samples and finished products, supplying nutritional information when necessary, and offering consultation on various Regulatory concerns by interpreting Federal, State and local regulations as they pertain to Wixon-supplied products
  • Facilitates the exchange of technical information with customers, including nutritional database analysis and other documentation requests as needed.
  • Applies an understanding of the corrective action, preventive action, document management, internal audit and the process improvement processes and their impact on the regulatory affairs of the Company.
  • Applies an understanding of the basic document control process as it applies to the Company’s documentation system.
  • Assists in the collection, organization and maintainence of all vendor raw material information required to become an approved ingredient within Regulatory Document Management System, including specifications, SDS, Kosher status, nutritional composition, allergen content and any other specific raw material data required.
  • Support the Regulatory department as needed, i.e. creating documents, organizing data, scanning documents for filing, and/or other duties as needed to support the group.
  • Assists in ensuring all applicable departmental tactical goals are achieved as directed in the tactical plan.


  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Good math, computer, communication and organizational skills
  • Previous Regulatory experience preferred
  • Previous food industry experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance and technical services desirable
