Project Coordinator

With in a dynamic team environment, the Project Coordinator will support the commercialization of new products. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless project execution, from initial planning to final product launch. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate all aspects of new product commercialization projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports. Prepare regular updates for stakeholders.
- Work closely with R&D, production, quality assurance, purchasing, packaging and sales teams to facilitate smooth project workflows and resolve any issues that arise.
- Communicate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components necessary for product development.
- Work closely with regulatory and customers to ensure all products comply with regulatory and quality standards for commercialization.
- Identify potential risks to project timelines or quality and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Help with project documentation, scheduling meetings, and managing project files.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, food science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2 years) in project coordination or management, preferably in the food manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, etc.) and MS Office Suite is a plus.
- Proficient in time management, prioritizing tasks, and performing effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards related to food production (e.g., FDA, USDA, etc.) is a plus.
