Umami has been called the fifth basic taste. It is a powerful taste that makes sodium seem saltier, sugar sweeter, and sour and bitter less sharp and intense. It's a savory taste, rather subtle, that rounds out and enhances food flavors without MSG. It simply makes food taste delicious!
Mag-nifique-Umami is a proprietary, all-natural ingredient that lets food processors enhance the flavor of food naturally. A perfect complement to no-salt or low-salt applications, Mag-nifique captures the satisfying taste characteristics found in mushrooms, tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, cured ham, meat, and fish. Try it in savory sauces, dips, soups, prepared foods, and much more.
