Conner is a 6-year-old who likes building with blocks, swimming and riding his bicycle. His wish to go on a Disney Cruise Line® vacation came true last spring thanks to Make-A-Wish Foundation, one of the many organizations we proudly support.

It began when a surprise limousine arrived to escort Conner and his family on the first leg of their journey. They boarded Disney Magic® at Port Canaveral and settled into their ocean view state room. They had a blast on board, discovering Disney's Oceaneer Club, Studio Sea, swimming pools and live Disney shows. Some of the highlights came when they docked at different exotic ports of call, including Key West, Grand Caymen, Cozumel and Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.

It was a dream come true and Conner returned home with powerful memories and souvenirs, giving him and his family hope, strength and joy.

Here’s the story of Molly, just one of the special people we’ve gotten to know and love through our work with Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Molly likes playing volleyball and hanging out with her friends. She also loves dogs, so naturally she wished for a puppy. Thanks to your support, her wish was granted.

Her wish began when Make-A-Wish volunteers met with Molly and her family to determine what kind of puppy she wanted. She decided on Yorkshire Terrier, so everyone got to work, preparing for her new arrival, including making arrangements for the puppy, purchasing supplies and setting up obedience training.

On her wish day, volunteers threw a party for family and friends, celebrating Molly's new friend. Molly's eyes lit up as she met her new friend Oliver (Olly). It was a dream come true, and this wish not only gave Molly a new member of the family; it gave here and her family hope, strength and joy.

Thank you for making this wish come true!

Molly’s wish was made possible through the generosity of the Wixon Open Golf Outing and the dedication of wish granters Joe & Kathy Bartel.

During the December holiday season, Wixon sponsors families and provides their full holiday meal as well as gifts for the children. Company president Peter Gottsacker dresses up as Santa and personally delivers the gifts to each home.

Our employees are involved, too. Every month, Wixon focuses on a nonprofit organization for a monetary donation – made possible by employees who pay $5 to wear jeans to work. In 2008, employees donated more than $2,500 to nonprofits including American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association, American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and United Way.
