2013 IQ Award

Wixon received a BizTimes I.Q. (Innovation Quotient) Award from BizTimes Media LLC for its Wix-Fresh™ Reduced Sodium System (RSS). The I.Q. Awards salute southeastern Wisconsin businesses for their innovations in products and services. Wixon’s Protein Group specifically designed RSS for meat and poultry. The flavor modifier can be customized to any meat species or application, including rubs, marinades, seasonings, and injection systems. RSS positively impacts flavor without compromising functionality or flavor and generates up to 50% reduction in sodium. Wixon is honored to receive this award for our innovative flavor technology, and we congratulate our Protein Group on this accomplishment.

Wixon Again Named to Wisconsin’s Future 50

For the third consecutive year, Wixon has been named to the 24th annual Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce/Council of Small Business Executives (MMAC/COSBE) Future 50, which recognizes 50 privately owned companies in southeastern Wisconsin that have demonstrated strong growth in sales and employment. The Future 50 will be honored at a luncheon and awards ceremony Sept. 15 at the Pfister Hotel.
