Food Scientist – Protein Applications and Seasonings

The Food Scientist will be responsible for conducting product testing, matching seasonings and finished products, and developing new products for specific meat projects. This individual will collaborate with sales for customer presentations, to establish constructive working relationships with customers, and to provide customer requests in a timely manner, and works closely with our exceptional research & development team to deliver innovative, targeted solutions to Wixon’s customers. Responds to customer inquiries and performs a variety of duties related to the Customer Care area in accordance with company policies and procedures. Blender Tier Two – 2nd Shift

Assists the lead blender in the setup, adjustment and operation of blending equipment to blend products and is an entry level position.  Develops and applies a general knowledge of blending theories. Follows the instruction of the lead blender.
